i have a bunch of family photos and im trying to make a disc for my dad, but i need to change the photo formats from *BMP to *JPEG i just need a simple answer

(I've never heard of that %26quot;img2img%26quot; program somone mentioned. I searched for it and from what I could find out it is actually shareware. I also wouldn't trust direct download links to unknown applications.)

If you have Gimp, there should be a Save As that let's you change the image to a .jpg file type. Almost all image editors have that ability, and Gimp is well enough designed and popular enough that there's no reason it shouldn't allow you to do that.
Easiest way I know to do this is to open your file in Paint program (assuming you're on Windows). Open the file, then click Save As, and in the File type box, change it to the one you want to save it as. Then you will have duplicated the image, in another format.

The simplest thing to do is to open up the paint feature, if you have

windows and go to file...open file...select the picture you want to convert...open the file...go back to file...save as... under options you have several different formats to choose from. Good Luck.

The eisiest way is open it in like photoshop o even paint and then click %26quot;Save As%26quot; Then just under the box where you name it there will be a drop down menu asking what format you whant to save it as. Just click on the 1 that you whant and save it!

Do yourself a fovour and download IrfanView. It's free. It's not just a matter of creating a jpg, you have to resample it to 96dpi (PC) or 72dpi (Mac) and compress it to around 80%. MS Paint hasn't got a clue about these refinements, but all other paint/photo programs do. IrfanView is very easy to use.

Hello :) The same thing happens to me..



What I do is I either drag or copy the photo I want off the photo booth program and put it on my desktop or another folder, then when I go to upload it I upload that one not the one in the photo booth folder. Or I take a screen shot of it and just do the same thing. That's the only other options I can think of but they work for me. Hope I helped in some way and that my explanation was clear :s
