Just right click on the image and put your mouse pointer on %26quot;open with%26quot; pop up menu will appear. click on %26quot;Paint%26quot; in the list. If you don't see Paint, click %26quot;choose program%26quot; find click paint and open it. When you see the image in paint, click file and then save as. Under the box where you type the name, click on the pop down box. That says File Type. Click .jpg. And press Enter or click save. it will save the file as a JPEG. Simple as that.

Here are the steps to change an image file to .jpg format:

Go online to the photo %26gt; RIGHT click %26gt; Save Picture As %26gt;

In top window box browse to MyPictures %26gt;

In bottom box %26gt; name the photo %26gt;

In very bottom box %26gt; click right side arrow %26gt; select bmp. %26gt; SAVE

Now go to MyPictures %26gt; find the file %26gt; RIGHT click the file NAME ( NOT the icon) %26gt; select RENAME %26gt;

change the name to one with a .jpg extension

Example: Rename Photo.bmp to Photo.jpg

Click off %26gt; now double click the icon, and it will open as a .jpg image.

i believe if you open it in paint or a similar program, you could save it as a .jpg if you just use the 'save as' option.

im sure photoshop would do it.
Open a program like Paint or Photoshop and choose to %26quot;Save as%26quot;. Then choose jpeg as the format.
