How can I change the motion picture format on my digital camera?

I recently purchased a LUMIX FZ38 camera and took a motion picture. I tried to send it to Facebook to share it with my friends but they would not accept the format. How can I change the format?|||By going to the menu button and then you go to set up, then change format then ya!
