i scanned some pics and it saved it as JPEG. i wanna change it to something else so i can post the pics on facebook.|||Open the folder with the files
Right click on the image you want to change, and select open with %26#039;Paint%26#039;
Once Paint has loaded
Click File
Save As
Under where you type the name of the file
there is a File type box
change the file type to that which you require|||You should be able to upload jpg%26#039;s onto facebook. I%26#039;ve done it.|||JPG is the worldwide standard for photo formats, accepted by everyone. I cannot believe Facebook will not accept Jpegs. Check the site again, you must be mistaken in thinking you have to change to some other format. In most likelihood Facebook will NOT accept a Tiff or Gif or Png or any such non standard format.
Now you may have scanned your photos at too high a resolution and need to downsize and compress them in order to upload, but you do NOT have to change from Jpeg to another format.
