How can I change a picture from TIF format to .jpeg format?

I use Ifranview and Gimp.

Just %26quot;Save as%26quot; and check .JPG|||Open the picture using a photo editor and save as .jpeg. This can also be done in Paint.|||open ur pic

go t o mspaint

click file-%26gt;save as-%26gt;name it and selet from the type jpg, jpeg

click save

now u hv it in jpeg format|||tif (tiff) files are often made by scanning or faxing, and can be change to other formats, you mention jpeg, but more so jpg is the common extension, if you have a tif file, it would be larger than jpg, and have better quality but not as web friendly, suggest saving copy as jpg extension, and keep original for now, if these are from scanner, you could use image editor to import twain from scanner instead , and save as jpg, older kodak fax viewer had default for tif files, try double clicking on file to see what program opens it, and see if theres an option from save as menu for jpg
