Let's sort this out. JPEG is a file format for images, and your laptop should be able to display them. By disc, I assume you mean a CD or DVD? If you want to change an image to JPEG, use paint, and click Save As... VERY IMPORTANT, don't click Save, because you will lose original copy. I recommend you make a copy of the picture, before you go to paint, and then you can click Save.
