I tried to save it and click on %26quot;jpeg%26quot; on the dropdown menu, but it won't work. The file just goes bad somehow so that I can't open it at all on photoshop!

Not sure exactly what the problem is, but you could try this:
- Go to Save for Web, then select JPEG format
or - flatten the layers and then try to save it.
File--%26gt;export for web/devices, then choose jpeg there.
