Well If your talkign about just a regular picture, An easy way to change the format if you dont want to download a program is: If your running a Windows OS, Just open up your picture in the %26quot;Paint%26quot; program, and go to %26quot;FILE, SAVE AS and then there will be a drop box at the bottom under the file name to save as and it will have many different formats you can save in and choose the one you like!

Just right click on the picture you want to save,
that opens up a list , then click save as,
and change the pic to either a giff ,j peg ,bimp or what ever you want .

open that picture with photoshop and then go to File menu and use save for web option..... there u can save that pic with the extention u want.
I often use Irfanview for this.
