How do you change the format of a image?

Some how I managed to accidently change a bitmap image into some microsoft office picture manager thingy and can't upload it cause the format isn't recognized now. How do I change it back or even into like a jpeg or something?

Open any folder on your computer. top of the window %26gt; View %26gt; Folder Options %26gt; View... now uncheck the one that says %26quot;hide file extensions%26quot; and that should do it! Now just rename a file to the right extension.

You must to open in an image editor and save as other format.

you could set the folder options to show the file extentions then you could rename the file and change the extention to what it was before you changed it.
