How do i change a picture in psd format to something else?

I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you don't want to fork over a few hundred dollars for Photoshop to convert a file...!

Gimp is a free download that will allow you to open PSD files and save them as another (more conventional) format (jpg, giff, tiff, etc.).

I own a photo retouching company (and use photoshop daily).. I just downloaded this program and was relatively impressed with it's capabilities (especially for a free program)!

If you simply take a screen shot it will drastically decrease the file size and resolution (and you can forget about getting a print out of the file).. converting will preserve the files original quality!

Hope this helps! :)

you have to get a copy of photoshop and convert it. some programs will open psd files mostly graphic programs.

you can download programs that will convert this but most of them seem to have all kinds of spybots attached.

If you don't want to download image-conversion software, you might have success taking a screen-capture photo of the image by pressing the PrtSc key on your computer's keyboard.

Then, open the Windows Paint program and press the keyboard combination Ctrl + V.

Then, crop the image if necessary and save the image in the file format you prefer (such as png, jpg, gif).

Also, you may get lucky and discover that whatever program is saving your image(s) in PSD format will allow you to 'export' the image(s) in other formats. Try looking for an 'export' option under the 'File' menu.
use a free program to convert from psd to any other image file
